    Parallel zu unserem großen Bereich für Ubuntu for Phones, dürfen auf Android Port auch News zu Ubuntu nicht fehlen.

    Ubuntu für Tablets ist offiziell, das System wird wie Ubuntu für Smartphone zum Mobile World Congress in Aktion präsentiert.

    Gezeigt wird es mit dem Nexus 10, das Nexus 7 wird ebenfalls mit dem System ausgestattet werden können.

    Optisch erinnert es an das Phone OS, ist aber vom Aufbau her natürlich an den größeren Screen angepasst. Im Mittelpunkt steht auch hier der Hub für die Suche, die Apps und weitere Inhalte. Ein Großteil der Codebasis teil sich das Tablet OS mit der Desktop-Version, daher sind die Funktionen recht umfangreich. Einen ganz guten Einblick vermittelt nachfolgendes Video.
